Detangling and Shampooing

While watching videos on youtube I came across a very helpful video on how youtuber RenieceHairTv detangles and shampoos her long 4A hair. I also have the same curl pattern which is tightly coiled, and very easy to tangle and knot up, so I thought I'd give her technique a try for myself. I must say it really made things easier for me. It may take me a little longer but it's better for me in the end. I just wanted to share this video with you all in case you all want to tweak your current detangling and shampooing method.

Denman Brush

While going through my blog roll today I found an interesting post over at curlynikki.com on Modifying your Denman Brush. She posted a video on how to modify your denman brush so that it can be easier on your hair. I own the Denman D3 which has 7 rows so I took out 3 rows. When I have a wash day later this week I will definitely let you all know how it works!

Can't fight the feeling!

Tonight when I was on youtube watching Jason Derulo's new video for my favorite song right now "In my Head" (make sure you go watch it), the camera man just had to zoom in on the leading lady's shoes! I was like damn those are HOT! Now just seeing her shoes made me want to go shoe shopping! Why am I up at 1:26 a.m. looking at shoes that I want to purchase that I don't need? I need to be buying more work out clothes instead of trying to get shoes! I can fight it lol I just have to stay away from the mall! With that being said I'm going to post 2 pair of shoes that caught my eye tonight!

I finally did it!!

So lately I have been contemplating whether or not I should do youtube videos mainly because I have no idea what my videos will consist of! I finally decided to upload my first video on My Natural Hair Journey which is basically a collage of pictures from when I had relaxed hair, during my transition, my BC and so forth. I still have no idea what my other videos will be about but over time I'm sure those ideas will evolve!
