Twist Out

You ever do a style like braids and twists and take them out the next day and it turns out so defined and great, and then a couple weeks later you try to achieve the same look and it never turns out like it did the first time? Well that's how it's been for me for a LONG time with my twist outs! I could NEVER get a nice defined twist out because it would always be frizzy!

So yesterday I finally figured it out lol! After I washed my hair I used my Shea Moisture Curl Enhancing Smoothie on each section and followed up with my Shea Butter mix. I must say i was very pleased with the results. I snapped like 2 pictures just so you all could see!

I loved it! So now I remember exactly how I got this look lol

Straight Hair Again

So over the weekend I decided to trim my ends so I straightened my hair and got right to work. For some reason I can not get this image of how my hair should look when straightened! I still see it in my head as turning out bone straight and blowing in the wind (lol yeah I know)  like it would if it were relaxed. I kept my hair in this style for like 4 days and washed it. Here are a few pictures I'd like to share with you all.

Day 1
Day 1
As the day progressed it got bigger and more frizz!
With Headband
On Day 2 and 3 I decided to do two strand twists with perm rods just so I could leave it out and not wear a ponytail. On Day 2 I used bigger rods and it didn't turn out as curly as it did for Day 3 when I used smaller rods. Here are pictures from both days.

Day 3
Day 3
I'm glad to have my curls back! hehe :) What I have to do is accept the fact that my hair will never look bone straight as it did when I was relaxed. I don't think that's such a bad thing either...
