The Hills Season 5

So last night was the Season Premiere of Season 5 for The Hills!!! YEAAAHHH lol I have been watching The Hills ever since the very first Season when Lauren moved out to L.A. for Fashion School! As far as a majority of the cast, I remember watching them on Laguna Beach. Okay so this season has already got DRAMA!! I'm not doing a complete run down of Episode 1, I'm just going to state my opinion on a few parts that stuck out to me! First of all WHY is everybody so threatened by Kristin Cavallari? (chick in the pink dress if you don't watch it) They are all talking about her and how she is a "man eater" and they seem scared of this chick!! Then Stephanie Pratt....sigh* (far right) wants to take it upon herself to confront Kristin about talking to Justin Bobby (third dude on the left)! Now Justin is Audrina's ex (second chick on the left). Audrina should be able to speak for herself! Cry baby Stephanie should learn to mind her own business lol. Now another thing...Kristin and Audrina aren't friends so WHY can't she talk to Justin? This whole respect Audrina, and that's against that friend code is wack because Audrina and Kristin aren't even cool like that. Justin is a liar and killed me the whole episode saying him and Audrina were really never a couple any way....sigh* If you saw past episodes you would see differently! Anybody notice that every body is hooking up with each others past boyfriends and girlfriends? I guess there aren't any guys or girls outside of their circle worth dating lol....I'm sorry about rambling on and on about this show but this is my favorite show! lol I'm sure the season is going to be full of drama. On that note, the ladies of The Hills need to "man up" and find cuter guys to argue about! P.S. I hope Lauren is having a drama free life!!

I do wear sandals!

I bet you all were wondering does she like anything else besides heels and sneakers! Actually I do! lol I like to wear sandals as well, especially in this Florida weather! It is about time for me to get some new sandals because the few that I own are looking pretty rough! Even though these shoes look a little old school I love them! I actually saw a girl in my class with a pair like this and just had to ask where she got them. She actually got her brown pair from Target. The Sandal of the week goes by the names of "Spalla". These are available at ALDO SHOES in four different colors. The colors are purple, yellow, white, black, and blue. Price? They are actually on sale right now for $34.98 ($50.00)! I want to go to ALDO today but I'm afraid they might not have my size again! sigh* maybe I'll just order these online or take myself down to Target and get them for $19.99! I just lose out on this awesome purple color.

I like this...

Three grand essentials to happiness in this life are something to do, something to love, and something to hope for. -James Addison

I really like this quote....I believe I've posted a quote from James Addison some where but I can't recall at this moment! It is 3:55 a.m. lol My niece is half way asleep calling for me to go to bed!

Kid Cudi Man On The Moon: The End of Day

This is my first CD review on my blog!! YES! LOL As you can see I purchased Kid Cudi's debut album Man On The Moon! I'm actually a fan of his (despite his cuteness) and I really wanted to support the release of this album by actually going out to BUY IT! The verdict? I LOVE IT! It is very different from any album I have ever heard and it gives you a better understanding of Scott Mescudi (his name). The tracks that stand out the most to me? Umm let's see...."Soundtrack 2 my Life", "Heart of a Lion", and "My World". I narrowed it down to my top 3 because I love all 15 tracks! I think if your looking for an album that's not talking about your typical money, cars, and hoes then you will love it just as much as I do!

My shea butter and Herbal Shampoo

About two weeks ago I did a post on a few products that I ordered from the website Butters-n-Bars and said that I would try it and let you all know how it went! Let's start with the Herbal Shampoo! When I washed my hair with this it really lathered up like all shampoos and maybe I left it in a minute to long because when I rinsed it out my hair felt all cottony and dry like other shampoos leave hair...I suppose that's normal?? It did do a great job at leaving my scalp and hair nice and clean! If you do order this please condition after! Now the Shea Butter smells GREAT! And I love the consistency of the butter. It's nice and smooth and it was easy to rub into my hair. I use it as a moisturizer for myself and my niece. I'll try the shampoo again this week and see if I have the same effect as the first time! I do recommend buying these products if you can.

To be or Not to be...that is the question...

You ever wonder what your purpose in life is and what you are suppose to be? Doesn't it seem like it was easy for those with great careers to figure out their calling? It's 2:02 a.m. and I am asking myself WHAT AM I SUPPOSE TO BE? I have no idea!! I have so many things that I want to achieve in life that I don't even know where to start! Lately I have really been thinking about changing my major to Marketing and Fashion. Why? Because I love shoes! I would love to be a designer but I can't draw or design so I'm playing on my strengths! I want to be a buyer for a company! I want to be a buyer for a company that sells shoes! A good example would be a company like ALDO! I love learning about the new styles, examining what type of shoes other women like, and I want to have an in depth understanding about what's in style and what is not. My other option is to basically open my own store because I don't want to work for anybody forever...that's just me though. I am kind of scared right now because I don't know where my life will take me in the next year or two! It's scary and exciting at the same time lol My first dilemma is where do I get an internship next summer? Do I stay in FL or do I move to another state? What if I don't get a job? Where would I get a job? I need money! Do I take a break after my B.A.S or do I go straight for my Masters? AHHHHH!!! Decisions...Decisions...I think it's bedtime...

Heelz of the week...

I finally decided to do another Heel of the week! I've noticed in my past posts that I've posted REALLY expensive shoes SO I was like why not post shoes that I myself can actually afford lol. The shoe of the week that I am proud to post are the Mickolick's! These shoes come in 4 different shades, this medium blue, fuchsia, black suede, and black. This medium blue is SO vibrant and sexy and I wish they were on my feet at this very moment!! lol Price on the Mickolick's? $90.00 and WHAT? @ ALDO!! lol http://www.aldoshoes.com/us/women/pumps/platform/75667600-mickolick/6?cm_re=Sep0409-WLP-US-A-_-Main-_-MICKOLICK-6 I really need to get these and put them in my closet right about now! UPDATE: I actually went to ALDO to buy this shoe and guess what? THEY WERE SOLD OUT!! They had the other colors but I wanted the blue!! The chick was like well we can order it! blank stare* I want it NOW!! lol Then I picked 3 other shoes that I liked from the website and they didn't have my size for those either! So I was pissed off to the point where I don't even want to order the shoes off the website for myself lol....

My twist then and now...

I like to take pictures to show my hair growth and see how much it has grown since my BC back in May! The very first picture is of some twist that I did June 15, 2009 and the second was taken September 10, 2009 SO my hair is growing at a nice little pace! I am excited about it and having fun trying out new styles and what not lol The last picture is what I took this morning after I took the twist out. I like the twist out because I don't have shrinkage like I do when I just pull it back with a headband. It will be 4 months since my BC on the 26th of this month!! (click the pictures to get a closer view) P.S. I know I need a edge in the back BAD lol I'll have my Aunt do it this weekend lol YIKES!

Butters-n-Bars

My order from Butters-n-Bars FINALLY came in! I placed the order on the 6th and got it today the 11th! I got the shea butter sampler pack which came with 3 scents, I picked the Mango scents which are Mango Peach, Mango Mango, and Mango Coconut all for $10.99 and the Herbal Shampoo was $9.99. I haven't had the chance to use anything yet but I'm excited! I finally got a good shampoo! YES lol!! I love how the shea butter's smell and how it feels! so soft and smooth!! So if you guys are thinking about ordering anything like these products above the website is http://butters-n-bars.com/ . They have sooo many different shea butter scents to choose from!! Then there was a New Naturals sampler kit that came with 4 products but I choose this instead! Once I use the products I will definitely let you all know how it went :) (click on the pic to get a better view)

The 50 Best Dunks of All time...RIGHT

Okay so on Complex.com they have the 50 best dunks of all time and ummmm...the list is not as good as I thought it would be...No SB's for one and for two I'd only wear like 10 of the shoes on the list. My favorites were The Smurf's which came in at # 2, Original 7 school colorways which were #4, I actually liked the Patent Charity Dunk Pack at #10, Kicks Hawaii at #12 (i like those colors), Alphanumeric #15, Clerks Pack at #25, Daktari at #28, Denims at #34 (one of my shoe of the week picks...look at where it is on the list!! lol), and my last favorite on the list were the Back to Schools at #44! To get the complete list here is the link: http://www.complex.com/blogs/2009/09/02/the-50-best-nike-dunks-of-all-time/ I think it would be a good idea to have a list catered to the ladies because those were shoes that most guys would wear!!

A few of my favorite things...

Hey all! I just thought I would share with you all a few of my favorite products! I have a lot more than the 3 above, I just choose to share these 3! The first product shown in the picture above is Giovanni's Smooth as Silk Deep Moisturizing Conditioner, second is Herbal Essences Tousle me Softly Mousse, and lastly is Garnier Fructis Sleek and Shine Leave in Conditioner (you can click the pictures to have a closer view) ! Okay I just bought the Giovanni conditioner from Wal-Mart...it was like $7.95 (that's the most I ever spent on conditioner lol) BUT it's worth it! When I did my weekly deep conditioning I used this and it did leave my hair feeling silky and smooth! Then you have the Garnier Fructis leave in that I use after I wash my hair and it smells very pleasant and leaves my hair soft and moisturized. I bought that from Wal-Mart as well for about $4-5.00 and some change! Lastly is the Herbal Essences Mousse! Ahhhh :) I am IN LOVE with the smell! My goodness! lol it makes me want to smell my hair ALL DAY LONG! I don't use it that much because mousse makes my hair a little crunchy and my curls have MAJOR shrinkage! but it's a good product for TWA's, idk about longer hair...I'd say it was like $3.00 and some change as well. In the second picture that's what my hair looked like after I used the Giovanni and Garnier leave in. The night before that I did twist and took them out the next day and all I did was spray my oil spritzer (which consist of water, jojoba oil, extra virgin olive oil, shea butter oil, and a bunch of other oils) to wake the twist out up and of course Eco Styler Gel for my edges. I recommend these products to anybody whether your hair is natural or relaxed. What made me try these products out? Well there is a blog that I go to: http://curlgirljourney.blogspot.com that has ALL the Curly Girl Method approved products so I just picked things off the list that I didn't feel like ordering online and decided to try them out! It's all about trail and error with so many products we can choose from! So check out that blog out to get tons of ideas!
