Peace Out 2009!!
Earlier this morning I realized today is the last day in the year 2009! All I can say is WOW!! What a year 2009 was! It seems like it went by so fast for me. Of course every year has it's ups and downs for us all but I wouldn't change a thing about 2009. I learned a lot about myself and those around me, and I met some great people! OH my biggest change was when I chopped all my hair off lol I'm looking forward to 2010 because I have some HUGE life changing decisions to make as far as my education, possibly moving to another state, internships, and graduation. I'm excited, scared, and anxious lol. In 2010 I will continue to strive for the best and have more confidence in myself and what I can accomplish. I hope you all do the same and remember this for 2010 : "When you think things are going wrong, consider they may be going right for the first time." @thedailylove With that being said PEACE OUT 2009... What's good 2010!! HAHA

3 for 1
I just noticed that I last time I did a blog post on heels was November 11th! It is now December 28th! I recently purchased 3 different pair of heels, the first dark blue pair are from Forever 21, and the purple and red pair are from ShoeDazzle.com. You know I love them all of course! I believe the ones from Forever 21 were like $25-$30 and all shoes are $39.95 from Shoe Dazzle but you have to sign up to get a membership. The Shoe Dazzle Stylists' give you 5 different shoes to choose from that match your style. Now if you don't like them you can ask for a new selection, or just pass before the 5th or 6th day in that month so they won't charge your account. If you just happen to forget to pass that month they credit your account for that charge so you can use it for future purchases. If you love heels like myself then I would say check them out! I haven't had the chance to wear the purple shoes yet but I definitely will soon :) So what do you all think?
Avatar 3D
Last night me and my best friend Heather went to see Avatar in 3D and mannnnn THAT MOVIE IS DOPE!! This was my first 3D movie ever lol haha I know I'm late..but it was well worth the $11.75. I really don't want to go into details about the movie but the whole time I was rooting for the Na'vi Tribe and wish I could be in the tribe lol. Their home Pandora was beautiful and amazing! I'm still trying to figure out how tall they really were! They were like 7'0 or something! But all in all I recommend this movie to anybody who hasn't seen it yet...and of course in 3D. The other 3 pics are what I wore that night to the movies.
Products I did keep
After I did the research on the ingredients in hair products to avoid I went through everything I had to make sure it didn't have ingredients that needed to be avoided. The products that I can actually continue to use that haven't caused me any problems nor did they have any of the ingredients we should avoid are: Giovanni Smooth as Silk Shampoo and Conditioner, Carols Daughter Black Vanilla Herbal Shampoo with Leave-In Conditioner, and Hair Smoothie, Herbal Essences Hello Hydration, Aussie Conditioner. I will not just try anything ever again! Like they say if it aint broke don't try to fix it! I'm glad I found out and listened to my hair and scalp!
Whats in your products?
Okay...you know how they say your hair speaks to you right? My hair/scalp has been talking to me and I hear her loud and clear! Like my best friend Heather says..."girl I bet your scalp is cursing you out" lol So recently my scalp has been itching and feeling irritated really bad and I couldn't figure it out for anything! SO yesterday I decided to do a deep conditioning with Organic Root Stimulator's Hair Mayonnaise and after a while I realized my scalp was itching like hell and my Aunt was like maybe your having an allergic reaction to whatever you just put in your hair. So today I used google to figure out what ingredients could be the culprit and THIS Hair Mayonnaise has 2 freaking products that can cause an allergic reaction while 2 other ingredients should be avoided.
The 4 ingredients that need to be avoided that are in this product are Diazolidinyl Urea, Propyl Paraben, Propylene Glycol, and DMDM Hydantoin. Now the DMDM Hydantoin got mixed reviews when I googled it and I found that same ingredient in Organix Coconut Milk, V05 Tea Therapy and Herbal Escapes. I'm not saying that's the reason why my hair has been itching and stuff because I never had any problems using those products BUT I've decided to eliminate all those products, including Hollywood Beauty's Castor Oil Hair Treatment because I really don't want to risk it. It is true that you REALLY have to pay attention to the ingredients in the products you buy and make sure they are safe for your skin, and hair. So don't be like me just trying things because it's suppose to be the best and blah blah...check the ingredients first. However, just because I had an allergic reaction to something doesn't mean you will. Just be careful!
OH YEAH! Here are 3 websites I looked at that told me information about these ingredients:

Merry Christmas
Well I wanted to wish everyone a Merry Christmas! Fine time to say it at 8:05 p.m. right? lol What a beautiful, and busy day it was for me today! Christmas day is also my Grandmothers' Birthday so all the family came over today to celebrate with her. The highlight of my day was all the good food! lol Nah let me stop! The best part of Christmas for me is being with my family and I enjoy giving gifts and seeing everyone's reaction to their gifts...speaking of reactions lol I got bamboozled early this morning!! I ripped open a present and it was a OLD dusty ass VCR... O_o I was like umm...what am I going to do with a VCR? Do they still make video tapes? lol But it turned out to be a prank! I actually got a Wii! Exactly what I wanted :) I got tons of nice gifts and I appreciate it all! My night has just began though...time to hit the night life up with the family! Happy Holidays everyone

Quote of the week
"The way you see the world changes after you start to become who you truly are. Seeking stops. Needing stops. You start to simply, be. A new veil is lifted and you begin to see clearly why things didn't work out the way they did in the past, precisely because it would have prevented you from living your best life. When you go toward and become the things that you Love & Admire you begin to see the Oneness of all that is. No one is below you, no one is above you, everyone is one with the flow of Life. When you get to this place, all the chaos and struggle in your Life will make sense and you will be able to manifest your Heart's desire without delay. To get there, let go of Fear and step into a life of Love."

Blogging
Okay I have been slipping on my blogging! I got so many things to share and I haven't done a thing!! I hate my background...it's to basic and shows not one bit of my personality...luckily Christmas Break is coming up so I can buckle down and put some exciting things out...and I need to promote my blog more too...Happy Sunday :)
Rihanna Rated R
Well it's another late night for me as usual!! I should be studying right now for my finals coming up this week BUT I needed to take a much needed music break :) This will be my second review on an album! I just had to pick the lovely Rihanna! I've been a fan of her since her first album Music of the Sun and trust she did not disappoint with Rated R. The three singles she currently has out for this album are Russian Roulette, The Wait is Ova, and Hard. These alone should let you know this album is AWESOME!! lol There is a total of 13 tracks ranging from the fun make ya wanna dance tracks to the love songs. What are my favorite songs? I'd have to go with Hard, Stupid in Love, Photographs, Rude boy, and Rockstar 101. That's damn near the whole album right?!? In all honesty you can just press play on your IPOD's, car stereo, computer, whatever and just ride out to every single track. No jokes!! If you don't have Rated R right now you are TOTALLY missing out!
